Blue rams questions

I recently bought a pair of blue rams for my 20 gal tank and i was wondering if anyone knows why they dont have any colour to them except for the red ring around their eyes.

What are your water readings? When did you get them? Tankmates?

They could be stressed from being in a new tank.

my rams a re a pale yellow with tiger like stripes

Do you happen to have a picture? Were they like this at the store?

no pic with me at the moment. they where like this when i bought them. the male is slowly getting his colour in his tail but thats it......

That is a Bolivian Ram in the profile pic. Possibly what you have? That species never has as much color as the Blue rams.

i was just using the colouring as an example of the yellow. i was wondering if maybe they are still juviniles?
