Bolivian Rams

I have a new 20 gallon tank, cycling now. I wanted to put some Bolivian Rams in it. How many could i put in there? Do they need sand? what do they eat? I have alot of questions about htem. This is just a start, hehe. Any info would be nice!!

they don't need sand, you can feed them anything from live food, to frozen brine shrimp or bloodworms, they'll eat flake food and enjoy it, the key to feeding fish is to try different foods, and then stick to whatever works the best. i would only put a pair in the 20 gallon

If i can order them at a cheap price i may go with them instead of livebearers in my tank. Ill measure the tank and get the dimensions soon... I think thats all the questions for now. I researched them a lot and figured out alot of the questions i had. Thanks!!

lol, i love breeding fish, as some of you already know, hehe, so thats why i was going to go with livebearers. However i was researchign some fish, and came across the ram. I saw its colors and thought they looked pretty good. Thats why im so confused over what to put in! They dont have rams at my lfs, so i was wondering if anyone knows any good online fish stores with good prices? Cichlids do look better than livebearers, but however you cant put many together. Thanks!!
