Botia sidthimunki-Dwarf Loach

Now I been looking these guys up but all I can find is that they can be in small aquariums. I wanted to make sure before buying that I can do something like this comfortably:

3 Dwarf Loaches
6 Harlequin Rasboras
1 Betta

Anyone think that may be too much?

I am assuming you are looking to put them in a 10 gallon tank. Anything smaller would be to small IMO. In a 10 gallon tank I think you would be OK with good filtration.

Okay. I got an Aqua Clear 20 on the tank. I was thinking that since they are roughly the same size as a Corydoras Cat then it would be good.

They talk about 5 being the minimum number in a shoal. A ten gallon seems tight to me for a happy group.

Yeah, just to follow up - Sidthimunkis really like to be in large groups, so even though they're small, they're not really fit for a 10 gallon set up.

It's too bad, huh? You'd think they'd be perfect by looking at them...

Yeah. They are a nice size at the store and look perfect. I guess I just have to research some other ideas.
