bottom feeders with oscars?

Can you put any botom feeders, snails or suckers in with an oscar? I heard that you can put in pl*cos but I dont want to add another big fish to my tank? I know you cant add much but I am doing my research instead of just throwing potential bait in the tank.

If you dont want to add another big fish to your tank your probably not going to able to add one at all. Somethings gotta be kinda big to stand up to an oscar.
Maybe large clown loaches.

Well if it ain't big it will go in the mouth. MAYBE a humbug catfish, Platydoras costatus, they're not too uncommon. They've got lots of spikes and they're poisonous. Only problem , if your oscar tries, and as it's likely never to have seen one it might, it will likely kill the oscar by getting stuck in the throat, and it won't clean your tank, but it is a nice fish

thank you very much. How big to clown loaches get? Ive seen pictures they are a very nice looking fish? Do they clean the tank?

Do clown loaches on average get to be 6 inches? do loaches and oscars need to be in a heated tank? Do you need to do anything different to maintain a heated tank

I have seen gigantic clown loaches, about 9". Yes, oscars and clown loaches need to be in a heated tank, all you have to do is add a heater and set it to about 78*F.
