Sooo, on impulse, I bought a managuense.

Didn't occur to me to know what i was buying.

i stuck the poor little bugger in an mbuna tank.

Looks like i'll be taking him back to the fish store tomorrow.....he is smaller than the other cichlids...but he bosses the tank around....

whoops.

feel free to bash.

We all learn by our mistakes JNevaril.Looks like you're no exception to the rule. You won't do that again will you! *thumbsups

I think it was Einstein that said,...
"If you've never made a mistake you've never tried anything new."

Read up on him first, before you decide you need to take him back. They may all work out a pecking order and be fine after that.Don't take my word for it though as I never heard of the fish you're talking about.LOL.

lol, we laugh with you, not at you I promise.

It's true, we've all made some silly mistakes at some point in our hobby. At least you know what to do now, and next time. :)

I think they are a beutiful fish, but need some serious tank space just for them, let alone with others (of similar size of course).

Live and Learn. At least nothing bad has come of this...I hope.
