Breeding Lyretail Swordtails?????

#1
I've done some research on this project that i'm going to do soon!!, I know that Lyretail Swordtails are very pretty!! I actually have 1 female lyretail swordtail at the moment. I read that MALE lyretails' can't mate, because their gonopodium is too BIG, LOL. So i was thinking about 1 Normal male and one female lyretail, since the Lyretail gene is a dominant gene this means that probably more than 50% of the babies will have the lyretails, but then again the female could be LL instead of having the gene Ll which means that the offspring would have 100% lyretail babies, are you following me? The male has ll genes because he's not lyretail, so i'm hoping that if i breed these two swordtails that over 50% will be lyretail IF they survive. Now anymore details from YOU to help my project go quicker, or more acurate, will be appreciated thanks!!!

Just because youve heard that Male Lyretails cant mate dont believe it. Weather you believe it or not try it out and see if they do mate. Experiment and one of them is sure to be sucessful. Good luck!
