Bright little fish

i was at the pet shop today and i saw these very bright little fish and i forgot to ask the pet shop owner what they were. i know that they were freshwater and they were bright yellow, orange , purple, and they were only one color they were marbled are any thing. i know that they were not mollies, platys,or guppies. does anyone have any idea what fish i was looking at. sorry the describtion is crap but i don't know how else to describe them.

Were their bodies clear with bright coloring? They were probably painted tetras Dyed Fish

No they were all no color, some where yellow, some were orange, etc.

If so they are Dyed fish.

my friend had a fish that was yellow with gray marbling, he told me it was a cichlids. but IDK.
