brine shrimp

my LFS sell a big bag of live brine shrimp for $1.00 i usually head over there once a week, how long will they live if i was to put the bag in my icebox that is 40 deg, would they last a week ? then i could buy 2 bags and go every other week, guess for a dollar i could just experiment, if they die i could freeze them then feed them to them with no lost money,

you can buy kits to hatch brine shrimp and just keep buying eggs, could be cheaper and you wouldnt have to keep runing to the store...

what do you think about this h.o.t. brine shrimp harcher im thinking of getting one for my bb gobies in a 29gal brackish

how long does it take for the brine shrimp to grow to full size ?

about a week or thats what ive heard

so i have to get a hatcher, and then something else to keep them in till they grow full size, so i can start another batch growing,and then buy eggs and a salanity meter and pumps, and,, and,, i think its easier to go to the store every other week, the brine shrimp lived just fine in the bag they came in from the store, plus i get to look at all the kewl fish at the store, they have a huge salt water section, people even come in and buy 5 gallon jugs of salt water from this place
