I've had my bristle pleco for 2 months now. I've never had a problem with it and it's keeping the algae at bay! Lately I have noticed some weird activity during the day. It usually stays in the castle and only comes out when I turn the lights off. I'll walk by the tank and see it laying on it's back under the castle during the day and it's like it's breathing rapidly. I tapped on the glass and it never moved. I accidently bumped the tank with my knee and it shot up into the castle. I'm guessing it was asleep hanging onto the bottom side of the castle and then just lost it's grip or something. The water is fine and the few times I have seen the fish it appears fine outside of laying on it's back and all the other fish are acting normal. Anybody have any ideas?
