I was playing in my tank, mh was off, fluo were still on, and i found an enemy...a bristleworm very close to my open brain coral. Mhhh...i used my huge turkey baster and siphoned it...it took 1 second. He's now freezing his *ss off in the sewers.

Just wanted to share that it can be easy to remove 'em if you can see 'em.
( but if you can see 'em you may have more than you think ! ;) )

A 1$ well spent on the turkey baster :)

Why do we hate the bristle so much? It can be a great thing to have as it is one of the best scavengers in a tank....
I do remove the ones that get larger... last thing I want is a 30' ocean python thing pulling me into the tank*BOUNCINGS j/k *crazysmil

yeah like that oregon one.......

yeeeech.... I purchased a small sebae anemone on the weekend....put it in after acclimating and I see this tiny bristleworm slide out into my sand......

to me.....bonus! especially as I returned the anemone the next day as it was not a healthy specimen.......
