wow, my red zebra is holding eggs! First time experience for me. My question is how many days does she hold till she has fry in her mouth? I hope I'm making sense. Vickiann

They typically release the fry around the 18-21 day mark, but can hold for as little as 2 weeks or as long as 6 weeks.

but what i mean is after she scoops up the eggs and she is holding them in her mouth how many days before the eggs turn into fry in her mouth?

The eggs develop quickly; you may see fry eyes within her mouth around day 10. They fry will still have yolk sacs to some degree for several days after that.
