I was at the LFS today and found a white lionhead. The only thing is she has a brown spot on her back. One of the patrons said it looked like a bacterial infection. I bought her anyway as they were not treating her and I felt sorry for the little gal. In doing my researc I've seen lots of stuff that it could possibly be. I'm color blind, but my roomie says that it's a brown spot with an orange color around it. Has anyone expierenced this before? I've given her a salt treatment as most sites recommend this for almost everything. I've also bought some PimaFix for fungal and bacterial infections. She is in a hospital tank seperate from my other fish. Any help would be great. Thanks.

I've attached a picture with the spot. (Leah)

She seems very healthy otherwise. She swims around normally. Just the spot on her back and on a little portion of her tail. I hate keeping her in this little two gallon, but don't want anything to spread to my other fish.

It's not a powdery or dusty spot. It's clearly not her scales either.

Think I should do daily salt dips as well as treating her with the pimafix?
