Brown Specs on Yellow Tang

I just notices little brown specs on my yellow tang what could they be????

What are your water parameters, and how did you acclimate him/her?

no I didn't buy another one its the same one and it didn't have brown spots on it before.

About 4 days now and just today have i noticed the brown spots.

The Store keeps all fish in tanks with copper with no rock just fake decor. They said it should be fine. Could it just be becasue I havn't been running my protein skimmer lately???


Could I mabye add some Kent Marine Zoe Expert to boost their immune system and see what happens. Mabye Garlic Extreme????

hey are the brown spots only during nightime ? The yellow tangs have a pajama...during night, their white line on each side becomes whiter, they look pale and they have "bruise" like brown spots...one big spot on every side.

yes they do pale out at night........much like a foxface

I was just about to ask if it was anything like my Foxface changing colors at night. LOL!
