i saw some stuff at the lfs i think it was called S.A.T. and it removes all unwanted algea from the reef aquarium suposivly without removing desirable algeas... has anyone ever used or heard of this stuff???

i knew emerald crabs ate hair algea but i didnt know they ate bubble algea..... i have an emarald crab in my 10 and no problems with it so maybe ill get one. can i have 2 in a tank together?


im pretty sure its bubble algea tho its hard and looks like a bubble ill post a pic....

ok the rock i had with bubble algea ended up with about 10 bubbles so finally a few weeks ago i went out and got a emerald crab and last night he finnally dicoverd the bubble alge rock and ate evry single peice ;) well worth 3 bucks :p

Sounds like you got a good emerald crab, I could never get mine to eat it. I finally just removed it by hand, each bubble comes right off in one rubbery feeling peice. Maybe you could rent out your emerald to clean other tanks :)
