bubble wands

I have a marineland bubble wand and it worked great for about 2 weeks. Now it seems plugged and only tiny bubbles emerge plus its over working my air-pump. Anybody have any tips on how to restore the life of the bubble wand?

mine do this once a month i just buy a new one, algae starts growing in all the holes i dont now how you would clean it

if this is the white cylindrical not the typical blue one, you can just poke it with needles. they're supposedly reusable.

trash it and get a bubble bar. You can get them at walmart or or your LFS should have them. They are blue, and wider than the bubble wand. They last a long long time. You can join them together if you need a longer one than you can buy. I like them. I have them in my 10 gallon and my 38.

Mine regular green bubble wand works fine, had it for about 6 months now is my two different tanks, everyone once in awhile i will take it out and scrub it with an old toth brush (not my everyday tooth brush ) and it works great, I keep it barely covered with gravel and i think maybe this helps kepp it from getting clogged up, but doesn't seem to effect the flow on it.

Thanks for everyones suggestions. I purchased a PenPlax green wand. When it gets plugged i can just poke new holes in it with a needle... Works great!
