bubblenest question

My wonderful male Betta Sushi has build a pretty big looking bubble nest, since he is near no females and i have no plans on putting him near any for the time being, would it "upset" him if the bubble nest was damaged when I change his tank. Sushi seems a moody type (he attacked anything I put with him) and i dont want him getting upset and refusing to eat or anything like that. so, would it tick him off if the bubble nest is damaged?

Actually I had a male betta build a bubble nest with the air pump on. But if you really want him to build a bubblenest put half of a flatened styrofoam cup and let it float in the tank. It worked for me when I was breeding my bettas. :D
