Bubbles???

Hi just wondering if anyone can help me. I noticed clusters of air bubbles on my heater, which i thought nothing of at the time, today, 2days on i notice that there are lots of clusters of bubbles at the bottom of the tank, They are of brown apperance and look like solid masses.
Does anyone know what these are and if they are harmful

could they be eggs on the heater? are you sure theyre bubbles?

sounds like brown algae growth which has gottten some bubbles in it to me
