Burry his face in the rock

I am really bummed out.

My baby blue has survived velvet and has been doing great for about 3 months.

I did a water change in is 1 gallon BOWL and now all he does it burry his face in the rock (stones) *SICK* . He will come up and get a gulp of air about every 5 mins but that is it.

Air, face plant, Air, face plant.

This has been going on for 2 days. Any ideas?


I use bottled drinking water and 2 drops of Aquari-Sol (preventative now)

It's not a definite symptom for any disease that I can think of. Unfortunately it reminds me of an older betta's behavior before dying. What would happen if you removed the marbles?

Not quite sure. I am thinking that he may be constipated.

I had broght a pea to work with me today to try to help him if it was constipation but he had already died.
