so i have read that it is a positive to add a little calcium to the tank to improve your snails shell..

I have 2 apple snails and 1 black mystery snail (new)

anyway my one apple snail has doubled in size beautifully and my other seems to have what i can only describe as a cleft lip type look on the one side of his shell.. and where he is growing its lighter in color and seems thinner.. I am worried about this.. so I bought some liquid calcium (made by Kent) to add a few drops to see if it would help

I DID NOT ADD YET...

i wanted to ask if it was safe to put in my freshwater tank first... I don't see why it wouldn't be all that is in it is water and calcium chloride but i wanted the pros opinion first..*SUPERSMIL

here are the pictures of Huebert the big snail that is growing beautifully.. and Lavar the not so good looking :(
