The answer will probably be no since I have two texas cichlid in them, but I'll give them away if I keep finding new cichlids I would love to keep.

Today I read some more information regarding the frontosas. I would love to get a couple of them if possible. I have 7 africans and the texas cichlids. Can I add about 4 more if I get rid of the texas?

Whats the tank size?

Basically the only thing working in your favor with the frontosas is their growth rate (very slow). They will get very large so a large tank is required. However growing them out to a nice sellable size could be done in say a 55gal? A nice size being 5-6". But you would have to get them big enough to keep up with the other africans and be able to take their beating, therefore you would need to start out with 4-6" fish.

All this of course pending your tank size. Without knowing your tank size i really can't say. Guessing its a normal 55gal (?) then i would say no to frontosas.

If you got rid of the texas cichlids then you would be able to add some more Mbuna.
