Can i have some corys please?

This is what i currently have:
a 30 gal heated, planted tank with a big piece of driftwood.
2 angels
1 khuli loach
1 albino shark
1 rainbow shark
8 platys
3 flame tetras

Do you think it would be okay to add about 5-6 little corys? I was thinking a mixture of albino, panda and peppered. I only want to get the little ones that grow to about an inch or so. I think these ones that i have suggested are that size. I definately dont want the bigger variety.

I'm not sure cories would be a good choice with the sharks. The sharks can get very territorial if someone goes into their cave. I would say you're already fully stocked, if not overstocked.

If you got rid of the platys, you would have the room....

If the shark is a problem (for cories???) you could try some YoYo loaches....

i'd actually think the shark wouldn't bother the cories as much as it would loaches. IME, sharks are more territorial with loaches, due to the similar body shape.

True, but loaches would be able to hold their own with the sharks better than the cories.........


If you really want cories, I think your best bet would be to get rid of the platies and sharks....... You could even add more tetras.....

2 Angels
6 Flame Tetras
5 Cories
1 Khuli Loach
