Just purchased a small open brain coral, and a small rock with 5 elephant ear mushrooms, they also sold me a bottle of Kent Marine Micro Vert" on the back of the bottle it says for better results use a plastic syringe to feed each coral. so my question is how much of this fluid would i use for a NANO CUBE 24 gallon to "target feed them"?

My honest answer is that I would be surprised if either of these corals would directly feed on this food, or most of the other bottled/tubed 'coral foods' on the market. Most coral foods are an utter ripoff, or very poor food subs in any case.
Mushrooms in my experience seem to be feed mostly by direct absorbtion of dissolved organic material. However mine do extend sweepers at times ... Open brains mostly thro' photosynthesis, but mine also seems to appreciate cyclopeeze, and other zooplankton and zoop. equivalents.
Eric Bornemans reference on corals in an excellent reference - at approx the cost of one coral, it will soon repay itself.

It should give you the dosing ratios on the bottle. I would feed once or twice a week in the evenings when you notice the sweeper tenticals out, but if you do use a food suppliment be very, very carefull not to over dose the tank or you will end up with water quality and algea issues. Keep a close eye on your tank when you start and check your water often for the first while to make sure your not over doing it.

As well turn off any filteration in the tank (ie. skimmer, canester filter etc.) for about an hour when feeding otherwise it will just be removed from the water to fast. Power heads should be left on for water movement.
