can tubifex worms be safe?

i've been feeding hikari freeze dried tubifex worms. hikari claims they're free of parasites and harmful bacteria. is is really safe? if not, can i treat the worms somehow (e.g. put them in the oven for a few minutes) to make them safe and still have nutritive value? the worms are also multi-vitamin enriched.

Does it say how they've grown them/removed the bugs without parasites and harmful bacteria? Like, did they irradiate them? My guess is that they've done more to these worms then just grow them. They've probably sterilized them so they removed any unwanted bacteria + bugs.

yes freeze dried tubifix are perfectly safe.freeeze drying kills any unediserable bacterias and parasites

I use freeze dried tubifex and yes it is safe. However it isnt exactly the most nutritional thing your fish could be eating. What fish are you using this for?

i give one cube per week to my 20G they like ti i just readed the back it says "safe for all fish we took out all the things tubifex worms are known to have"

i use it as a change of pace in their diet, mostly as a treat. they seem to really love it!
