:( I realize this is SO basic, but no algae scrubber that I've tried can get the algae off of the aquarium glass. My 75 gal. saltwater tank has been balanced for a lot of months, but I keep having that same problem. Is it possible to use a razor blade to scrape off the algae in a marine tank???

First of all if your tank is glass I would go the metal scraper route, if it is acrylic then you have no choice but to use a credit card or plastic scraper as you don't' want to scratch the acrylic. Good luck!

u can pick up a razor scraper with 5" razor blades and 12" handle for about 10 bucks at a hardware store. usually they are aluminum so no worry for rust and replacement blades are realy cheap. I use the same blade for nearly 3 months at a time myself.
