Hi Im trying to create an experiment with the use of clown fish mucus but for it to be successful i need to know the chemistry of clown fish mucus.
If anyone has this information that would be great.
Thanks.
fish mucous is a glyco-protein. when in contact with water, gives it the slimy feel. i'm not sure how exactly you could go about recreating a glyco-protein, or even anything similar..
Why don't you just Google it or use pub-med? This forum could help you start but you actually need to look that up yourself if you want to know the exact composition... .it's probably going to be a combination.
