After giving a way a pair of mature severums a couple months ago, I finally sucked it up and purchased a little gold sev juvenile that I've been eyeing up at the store for a little while now. His name is Chester, and the only way I can get him to hang out in front of the camera, lol, is to feed him (as you can see in one picture).

I would have liked to keep them, but they were much larger than the rest of the fish in the tank (they were all juveniles) and I just didn't trust them with the smaller guys. So I figured I'd find a home for the pair, and start again with juveniles so they would grow at approximately the same rate as the other juvies.

Nice finage to him. He really has his fins erect and looks like a really nice fish.

Thanks I've always loved golds too...but Sevy and Dory (the pair I gave away) always killed them why I tried to add one to the tank (even before they were adults and paired up). So I had to get one once those two were in a new home
