Chicagoan in need of home for fish!!!

Hello everyone,

I am new to the tank and thought this would be a nice way to introduce myself. I currently have a 10gal tank with a few cichlids who are in desperate need of a larger home.

Does anyone within driving distance need to get rid of a tank? Preferably a tank that is 30 gal or more. I'm not looking for a handout but something reasonable to pursue my growing enthusiasm.


Anyone out there want to push start this future store owner to follow his dream?!

Have you checked craigslist.com for any tanks? Being in Chicago I would imagine you would be able to find something there pretty cheap.

umm.. I don't think that I would be willing to wheel and deal on basically a new tank only 3months old. You said that you were looking for a tank within driving distance, so I wouldn't be shipping it! So you picking it up doesn't DRASTICALLY lower any asking price. You already knew you would have to pick it up... I would not deliver it.. Sorry man.. Good luck!

nope.. not sure yet.. guess I won't know until it gets close for me to get my bigger tank
