Chinese Butterfly loach??

Hi there,
Ok I have checked the net and this site and cannot seem to find any info on this fish...I got it for christmas, but now I am not really sure what to feed him/her. It's beautiful and I love it, but I don't know anything about it, ideal temp, food, habits...I mean I usually do a lot of research before I get a fish, I was not expecting to get one for christmas.
She is the strangest looking thing, like a cross between a rubber-lipped pleco and a stingray, she's a little hoover all over the glass, if anyone can point me in the right direction for this fish or give me any info it would be much appriciated!!

I would go to www.loaches.com. There are lots of loach pictures to help you ID them. It sounds to me like some kind of hillstream variety. Good luck finding out about it

You will find a lot more info if you search for Borneo sucker, that seems to be what they're more usually called

they are great fish, i had one for about 7 months. he was in my 65 gallon tank, but unfortunatly i lost him in the new york blackout in the summer. good luck with him/her

they have many names, so search under a few names, them you will probably find something. they most commonly go by hil-stream loach.
