I have an idea for a 55 gallon setup.  It would include a small number of goldfish (3-5 depending on recommendations here), 2-3 weather loaches and small shcool of white clouds, maybe 5-10.  What would be the best combo here?  I figure I have the white clouds to shcool around and they'd look very nice, the goldies to add some color and the loaches will clean the bottom of any food that falls through.  I am going to get 2 Penguin filters for it and decorate with plants native to China, if I can find any that is, some drift wood and build some caves for the loaches.  I have a nice cool spot all picked out for it too.  So does this sound good?  Please tell me the maximum amount of each type of fish I can put in here.

Just make sure the goldfish are not common comets..they get too big.

you could have a lot of white clouds. Any plants you use would have to be weighed down with rocks..the weather loaches could uproot them otherwise.

I have a 3 inch common now that is about 5 years old and needs a bigger home.  But the new guys would be one blue oranda, one moor and one calico oranda.  I was also going to use the SeaGarden silk plants, the look nice and the goldies won't eat them.  Thanks for the advice.

The common weather loaches are not as bad, they stay small and skinny. The Misgurnus fossils species is the ones that did the uprooting. She was a big girl. Nice and thick..but very peaceful.  ;)
