What kind of substrate do you have? Unless it's like sharp glass shards or tons of little pointy rocks, it is probably alright. Cories are really cool, especially those "Archer" kind. You know, you can go to Barnes & Nobles and pick up AFM Annual 2003, which has a HUGE article on the little guys. Very good article indeed. HTH.

corys migh not like that gravel, yoyo loaches might be comfy in this tank but both won't be able to clean your gravel.no aquarium fish that won't get to exceptional size would be able to clean this gravel IMO.but that is just me.with this gravel you will need to clean your gravel often

I like the cherry barb idea.

You can add cories with that gravel. The cories prefer eatting a nice sinking pellet over the search through the junk in the gravel anyways. Besides, mine always help me clean the gravel when I am vaccuming on water change day. *thumbsupsmiley*

Want a fish that goes in and cleans under the gravel?..get a weather loach. Just expect plants to be uprooted...upplastic holdered (had to include the fake plants buddies too ;D  )from the gravel.

Frozen mysis shrimp and frozen bloodworms seem to be my cories and small shoaling fishes favorites, some good quality flakes and tablets for the cories are good to. Just remember, varitey is the key to feeding fish. Dont have to switch foods every feeding but give them a little spice to life :D
