ok, what makes blood parrot hide in the corner and act so skittish? I have an est tank and I just put a baby oscar and a blood parrot in a 46 gal. the two of them seem terrifed. I checked the water yesterday and the test strip said that the ph is too low. I adjusted it...did a water change. my water is not hard. what could be causing the ph issues? i have had this tank for a year. it used to have an enormous oscar in it but I moved him. i've never had a problem before but as soon as i introduced these two fish the ph dipped. any help would be great. i'm worried about my fishies.
