This girl/guy was dropped off at my store while I was off one day. Gotta love it when that happens. *sarcasm*.. It was pretty beat up, one side looked like hamburger, missing alot of scales and raw, rubbed lips, split fins(tail split up into the meat), and overall poor color and health. I kept it seperated in its own tank for a couple weeks medicating it until it started to patch up some, and just recently brought it home and stuck it in a temporary 29gallon until it can go into my 110.. Its currently around 5".. I'm 90% sure its a dovii(wolf cichlid), and maybe a female looking at the color, which has only gotten lighter and more high contrasting since its been home with me.. More light white/tan and black, then the dingey overall brown it was when dropped off. HOPING its a girl, which means i'd be able to keep it. lol. I don't think i'd be willing to risk my poor arowana to a big male dovii.. lol.
