Hey guys, I added my first cichlids to my tank today, and since I'm pretty unknowledgable when it comes to IDing cichlid species I'd like some help here. I live in Japan, so at the store they just have the common name written in Japanese which is occasionally helpful, but I'd like some definite species names here. So without further delay...
Aulonocrara Super Orange is what I got from the store. Any help on an actual species?
Sorry for the blurry pic, but this guy is just too active to snap. Do you think it's Pseudotropheus sp.ct. zebra? Called a "Zebra Cichlid" in Japanese.
Same dude hanging out in a cave... Very cute!
I know this guy is very common, but his name is slipping my mind now.
This is my tank set-up, complete with sailfin pleco. It's bigger (wider front to back) than it seems in the photo. I'd like to add a few more in here after these guys are in here for a while. How many do think I could fit in the tank?
Thanks for any help you could give!
