cichlid vegetables

i have mixed african cichlids, do they like to eat vegetables?. i have seen many places have a piece if zucini or something simular in the tank for the fish to feed on, but never in a cichlid tank, what are other feeding options? i am currently giving them tetra cichlid flakes and tetra cichlid granuals 2 times daily

what kind of africans? all will eat veggies most will love them, some shouldnt be having much of the food you are currently feeding, mbunas and trophues moreso then others, they should be fed spirulina flakes and veggies with occasional brine shrimp as treats

dang, and i just bought the largest size can they had too, i have a mix 11 fish in a 55, yellow labs, kenya,bumble bees, cobalt blues, and a firemousth, <i know he doesnt belong there, but he does great with the others, no fighting or anything>, and sorry i cant pronounce or even type the "correct" names of these fish

im running a aquafin 60 and an emporor 400 for filtration

other hten the firemouth and kenyi its an ok mix but i could get a good spirulina flake as the base of the diet and feed veggies with occasional brine shrimp (once every 1-2 weeks)

what is a good vegetable?
and what is a good spirulina flake ?
i stopped at the local petsmart this evening, didnt notice spirulina anything.
