cichlid?

I just got a cichlid (looks like yellow lab with out black line on dorsal) and he bit my guppies tale off. No not lucky my other one. i need to know if they can be kept in a betta tank (without air)?

You want to put a cichlid in a 1 gallon tank?

Did you do any research about whether or not this new fish you got was compatible with your current fish?

Immediately put your new cichlid back in a fish bag or tupperware container and take it back to the fish store. That's cruel to keep it in there with other unsuspecting and non-compatible fish. He will soon kill them all off.

And NO, he will NOT be able to go into a betta tank.

not even if hes a albino lab?
P.S. i got him from a friend i dont know which petstore to go to.

It doesn't matter what color morph it is, it isn't suitable for any of your tanks. Most LFS will give store credit for fish.
