I just did a 50 % water change and hope to stop this problem, its stilll happening. I now went from 20 fish down to like 10. Over the past 2 weeks I have lost 5 fish. They are alll fine one day, then the next day one is weak, pale white, and just basically floating around barely alive. No symptons on the skin. I can not figure this out and about to give up this hobby. I have been doing it for 10 years!!!! And this 75 gallon tank is about 10 years old now.

I am about to trash everything in the tank, restart from new. Not sure if I want to keep the fish currently I have left. Afraid whatever is in their killing them might come along.

I mean the fish were so happy, they had a few babies!! They have grown up now.

here is a picture before I lost most of my fish. :(

When I have seen similar it's been bacterial. Get the substrate out for a start
A little more detail on how to do this would be apperciated. Thanks.

Edit; Do you want me to removal all the rocks and put new ones in? I would have to basically start from fresh to do this.

I really would consider breaking down. You have quite a deep layer of gravel, and I would be tempted to pull a lot of it out, by hand. This will cause one hell of a mess by the way, so prepare to empty gunk out of the filter a bit.
