Cleaner on Outside??

Is it ok to use a cleaner on the outside of my tank if I spray it on the towel and wipe the tank??

I dont see any problems with that, how big is the tank, does it have a cannopy or a hood?

I have a 55 gallon tank with a hood, and I spray the snot out of it with Windex and wipe it down with no ill effect as of yet, but other may chime in saying something different, but IMHO its not a problem.

Yep, thats what I do, I spray the windex on a paper towel and then wipe the outside, I usually have a spare dry one that I immedietly dry the area near the top with so there is no residue.
Try using a coffee filter for an extra sparkling effect with no lint!!

OK. Thanks. My tank is finally clear (YEAH!!!) and I have dog nose prints and fingers prints on the tank that I want to get rid of now that my tank looks so pretty!! lol.
