cleaning crew suggestions

#1
I'm planning on setting up a 6 gal eclipse tank soon, my 10g glass one has like 3 panda cories in it and want to do something different. Is there another other type of shrimp you can put in there besides the ghost shrimp? i was thinking of something with the cleaning properties of a peppermint shrimp or the arrow crab(very interesting thing!) but for FW applications. If not i'm going to add 2 ghost shrimps and 2-3 snails in it. hopefully the ghost shrimps will keep the snail population in check with such a small tank. then to finish it off probably only 2-3 small colourful fishes after everything has settled in the tank with the cleaning crew.

thanks for any input!

thanks just looked into it. they work even better! cause seems like the ghost only each food off the ground. these Amano Shrimp eat algae as well as left over food from the fish, sweet! i'll add in one snail (no reproducing that way). i'll get 2-3 of these should be ok i hope. On my way to a super clean tank!

Shrimp will not keep the snail population under control...but as long as you get an apple snail, you shouldn't have snail over population issues. In such a small tank I'd think you could just add one apple snail and they'd help immensely as your cleaning crew. In my 5G I have a snail and an otto and they keep it spic & span.
