cleaning rocks?

had my tank for about 9 months and a few death when startring but been fine so far. but i have not been able to control the moss that keeps growing on my rocks i have to keep buyin new ones i was hoping that one of u kind ppl whould be able to tell me how to clean them

are you sure its moss? It might be algea or slimy bacteria stuff. If its clear and looks like mucus, its bacteria. If its green or brown, its algea. Also, do you mean gravel, or actual rocks? If its bacteria slime, then it'd be a good idea to boil the rocks for a few mnutes before putting them in the tank. That'll kill all the bacteria that causes the mucus. If its algea, try rubbing it off the rocks. If it doesn't come off, try an algea pad.

I would scrub them with water and a stiff brush, then boil them, rinse them and allow them to cool. I assume you mean algae when you talk of moss. The boiling should get rid of the algae (green or brown slimey stuff).
