This subject has probably been told over and over again, but if anyone could tell me how to clean the glass on the inside and outside of my aquarium, I would be much appreciated.  Thanks.

Inside, well you should have an algae removal pad (pet store charged me all of .99 for it) or there are those fancy magnetic ones... Tho I'm much prefering my new way, chinese algae eaters, been in the tank for a week now, no signs of algae on the glass :) Hungry little guys!

Outside, you can either blow the big bucks on the fishtank glass cleaner (wont hurt your fish like windex) or I just spray the windex onto a paper towel, and wipe things down, being very careful to stay away from areas windex might leak down into the tank.

I love mine. I have a deep 55 gallon tank , Ok I admit it I'm short, and reaching in there is not easy. Sometimes those algea pads can scratch the glass. Make sure you take it easy on it what ever you get. Be gentle or you will have permanent scratches on your tank. *thumbsupsmiley*

i usally clean the inside of my glass with a cut square from a wash rag that i only use for my tank. I have never had to deal with green algea which i think can be harder to get off. On the outside of glass i carefully use windex. My fish have become used to seeing my hand in the tank cleaning and have become quit tame.
