cleaning vacuum after ich

First 2 weeks into starting my new tank, noticed ich. I'm treating now with salt and heat, but before I noticed the ich, I used my gravel vac to do a water change. I'm worried about reinfecting when I go to do water change in week and a half to get the salt out. Also, worried about using vac on my 2nd newly started tank. Will letting the vac dry out completely be enough?

letting it dry will kill the ich, watch your water temp when you are doing your water changes dont let it swing to much

The ich will go on your vac, but even so i would treat the other to - Not as thoroughly, but add a little salt just for precautions. ; )

Thank you both! Today is the day for the first change. Going to do 25% a day to try to keep the temp more steady.
