Cloudy eyes : yellow Tang In QT

Done a 25 % water change in my main tank. I use paraguard in a 1 gallon QT. I do 1 hour drips ...how often should i put him back for medications ?

The fish is eating well and no loss of color. But one eye seems coated with white film.

Had a nitrate peak...first one noticeable.

Hmm...nothing I would be over worried about. Your drip medicating might stress him out, which is what I think is giving him the cloudy eye. I would keep hime in the main tank and soak the food in a vitamin formula.

my qt sucks so basically i don't have a filter/heater in it..that's why i do 1 hour drips. Now i've done 1 today. Can someone tell me the frequency needed ? Anyone had cloudy eyes and/or used Seachem's paraguard ?

I have had a few fish get cloudy eye. The best treatment is to make sure they arent getting stressed. I doubt that parasites will be a problem, so I wouldnt worry about the para guard. I fhe is getting picked on or chasing fish, doesnt have a hiding spot or something then fix the problem...you will see the cloudy eye go awya probably in the next few days.

Mhhh...ok so i guess it's not good to chase him just to get him in QT too

Oh well...maybe i bought a 4 $ paraguard at 16 $ here for nothing...

oh i didn't saw you first post. Well he had his cloudy left eye this morning ...before i gave him medication. The medication was for the eye

now is nightime for the tank....it's been 2 hours since he started swimming fast all around the tank as if something was chasing him....but there isn't ...unless it's the water parameters ( changed 25 % water today but their did not seemed that bad ) and/or parasites.
He's like badtripping on acid.

looks better...the cloudiness is slowly going away. His color is bright. Always hungry. But still he's skinny...cause i bought him sick....tnx to the dark store wich i will never go again for livestock.
Under used 20 w bulbs he looked ok.

Yup...thats good to hear. Soak his algae in Zoecon, color will become really vibrant, and he wont get hille.

woah i just checked at bigalsonline.ca and it's 23 bucks for a bottle. Kinda pricy. I know a guy who uses Colorbits for his tang. For Omega 3 i have Emerald Entree. It's not as concentrated maybe..still he has some.

I'm not cheap i'm poor right now.
