Cloudy tank

Hi there i have a cold water tank that i set up for my son it was running for about a week before i put any fish into it.....i gradually added around 4 fish then two weeks down the line three died overnight and the tank was mega cloudy!!!!! I gave the fish as an offering to the big porcelin god and set about doing water changes etc.......... i think it may have been the filter that was getting used was to small so i bought a bigger filter.......it seemed to clear it a bit but its went cloudy again....is it a possible bacteria build up due to new filter???.....help

There is no algea in the tank either.*celebrate

What color is the cloudiness? Is it milky? Tinted green? A bacteria bloom usually happens when you've done a big water change or changed the filter media.

A couple days after adding water to my tank, the water started to get cloudy...As MissFishy said it's probably a bacteria bloom....wait it out for like three days and see what happens. If your really worried just check the parameters of the tank...
