Does anyone know if the cloudy water from putting sand in the tank will harm the fish. I am about to change my gravel to sand and I have spend about 2 days now cleaning the sand. It has gotten a lot clearer but I am still afraid when I put it in the tank it will cloud.
If you carefully put the sand in, there shouldn't be a problem (put it in a bowl, put the bowl underwater, and gently remove the bowl after depositing the sand on the glass).
