cloudy water problems...

hello everyone. i need suggestions on what to do with my cloudy water..from day to day all my water has gotten real cloudy. cloudy enough that i cant see my backround nor my bubble wand. i bought some water clearer @ the fish store and it helped alot but its still very couldy. any suggestions? all help needed. should i just start my whole tank again ?

Maybe you need a water change?

If the tank is new, while the tank is cycling, the water usually gets cloudy.

You shouldn't start over unless you REALLY need to.

"Water clearer" did you try Accu-clear ?
I use that and it seems to work quite well.
if your water is white then it's finishing cycling.
if it's green it's algae.
if it's brown you need a better filter, or it needs cleaning.

It's probably a bacterial bloom...so do some daily water changes and vacuum the gravel thoroughly. Make sure there aren't a lot of dead leaves/uneaten food collecting.
Sit it out. These things come and go.
