Hey even though I'm on vacation i still think about my tank constantly. Right before I left (last week) the tank water was awfully cloudy. I thought it might have been a real late ammonia spike, but i checked the ammonia and it was zero. PH was fine too, my fish-sitter said everything was going okay. But I'm still worried about why my water was so cloudy. I did add some new live plants a couple of days earlier and I did a recent water change, but I still am wondering what caused it....any ideas? will my fishies be okay? Thanks for any help!

I'm having the same problem. My tanks are always clear, up until yesterday. I checked the amonia, ph and nitrite leves. Amonia and nitrite are at 0 and the ph is 7.6. I did a partial water change yesterday, but it didn't do any good. I have a 10 gallon with 3 adult fancy tail guppies and 10 fry that are 1 month old.

We have had some similar problems in the past.  We found that patience and water changes seem to work well.  We have even been having problems w/ our 55 being cloudy lately also, but part of that is a massive algae bloom that we finally seem to be getting in check.  Just stick w/ it and hope for the best.  It should clear w/ time.
