you think it be good if i use cloudy ghetto water that is use for drinking water in my apartment? i figure it clear up but figure id ask before using it.

There's a few things you can do.

First of all fill a clear glass and then let it stand and see how long it takes to clear.

Secondly test it for ammonia, nitrites and nitrates and stuff.

If you're drinking it I would hope it would be safe enough for your fish.

ill test it out see wat happens i dont think the water clears tho and i dont drink it:p ...around here crap like this sucks i called to have it tested actually to see if it can be drank

If you have access to a carbon based filter (like a britta) you might wanna try using that to filter the particulite out of the water. If that is the case I would DEFINITELY keep a few gallons in reserve in case of emergancy water changes.

Or use what ever source of drinking water you have.
