I was wondering if anyone has kept a clown tang.
I heard They are very hardy, But are proned to ich.
Also I want to keep a clown trigger with one other fish
in a 29g. I know it will out grow that tank but my local
fish shop will let me trade in my grown fish for a new
baby fish. Is this a good idea?

Not a good idea.....a 29g is too small for either one of these fish, much less both of them together!

Why not try and keep something that you will have a better chance of success with? Why set yourself up for failure?
There are tons of nice small fish that would do great in a 29g.....royal grammas, dottybacks, hawkfish, jawfish, firefish, damsels, clownfish, small wrasses like the fairy wrasses (probably one of the most beautiful fish in the sea), etc.....((uh, I'm not suggesting you keep ALL these fish together in the 29!! Just a couple and of course, you will need to pick fish that will be compatible with each other!!));)

These fish are just too big for a 29 in anything but the short term. I can't see the point in keeping 'character' fish, just to get rid of them when they strt to really get good.
What have you got at the moment?
