Clown Loaches!!

A beautiful, mysterious fish!! Any ideas on feeding techniques/special food needs for these guys? Would like to start up another tank focusing on loaches.....

Cucumber, flake food, snails, zuchinni, they like those.

Loaches love snails. You might start a small tank (when I had loaches I used a goldfish bowl) that has just snails in it, no gravel on the bottom. If you occasionally put food in there, you won't ever run out of snails for your loaches

I don't know if you have a petsmart anywhere near by, but I do and they have pond snails EVERYWHERE! and are happy to unload them on me in bulk for free, the employees have to clean them out anyway so I don't feel too bad asking for snails. They do look at me kinda funny when I ask though, most people avoid pond snails like the plague.

Yeah, I've always heard people complain about having pond snails in their tanks, but I kinda like having them in there...

The clown loach is probably one of the liveliest and most colorful of the readily available loaches at LFS here in the US. But they do get BIG, so be prepared for a bigger tank a few years down the road. Also, they are very Very playful when kept in groups. ALl you;ll need to know you can find on loaches.com as previously pointed out.

I know what you mean, but my loaches eat them up so fast they don't have the shot to blow themselves population "Out Of The Water" No pun intended
