clowns with cichlids?

i have an mbuna tank and i was wondering if i could put some clown loaches with them they r alll about 3-5 inches...they are all happy i have had 3 sucessful fry makers so far since the summer

Sure I don't see why not. but in my experience clown loaches are easy to stress out so acclimate them slowly.
I have seen clown loaches in african tanks and they are quite a nice addition.

yes you can keep them with most cichlids(save a few of the larger more violent types.). an lfs i go to has a nice display tank with a bunch of cichlids and a nice school of clowns. there colors look great next to the colors of the cichlids.

ok thx guys this is going to be a totally stupid question but is there only clown loaches? or is there other types of loaches i can add as well? and is there anything else u would suggest i can add other than clowns?
